How to get those planes away

Featured Replies

Hiya guys,I have a question what's new, i have about 49 PAI aircraft installed but in FS2002 they always show up for me to select them. Is there a way to get them out of my Aircraft list in FS2002.Many thanks,L.Jim

If you left "ui_ manufacturer=" blank in the aicraft.cfg files they would all show up as "Unspecified". It wouldn't get rid of them but you would only have one "manufacturer" entry for all of them.

You need a program called Air Editor (I think it's officially Air Ed.) This will allow you to modify each plane's .air file. There is a parameter called Aircraft Type which is normally set to 0, meaning that you can either fly it or use it for AI. If you set Aircraft Type to 2, it will be AI Only and will not show up in your Aircraft Selection menu. This is a small program and a quick download. Since it works on the .air file, you will probably have to change one file in each folder, but if you have multiple liveries in one folder then you'll only have to change one file for all of them.
