PMDG 747 with window 7

I just went with window 7 pro 64 bites and I have the CD of the3 pmdg 747 but it wont install. Any help?ThanksAl

By teh way I am using FS9AL

You have the boxed FS9 747 version? (verify that you didn't get the FSX version) What is the error that you're receiving?

I installed it on Win 7 Home Premium 64bit for FS9 .1 with no problem. Make sure you have the patch applied to FS9 to make it 9.1. Also, if you are using the No CD patch that might cause a problem and you will have to revert to the original fs9.exe file until you have the 747 installed.Then, with the CD in your drive browse it to find the setup file. Right click on it and select "run as administrator". If you do all this it should install with no problem. :( Iain Smith

The only thing I can think of now is that with your previous attempts you may have a partial install on your system which the CD is detecting and so not responding to your instruction - it thinks you've already got it. So go into your Flight Simulator 9 directory and Aircraft and see if there are any files or folders relating to the PMDG 747 there. If there are, look in Control Panel/Remove programmes and see if it shows up there. If it does try removing it there, if not delete the files/folders that you found and start again.If that doesn't work I'm out of ideas. :( Iain Smith

I checked and no PMDG 747 only my PMDG B737 which I had no problem to installed. My CD version is for FS9 I used it with my window XP no problem.Any other suggestion please?ThanksA
