November 24, 200916 yr I have two different panels which work well with various aicraft and would like to know if it is possible to have a panel.cfg configuration which would allow me to easily choose one or the other.Currently I have to go the way of replacing or renaming the panel folder file required and am assuming there might be a better way to do it.Thanks for any assistance/guidance.Clarindo
November 25, 200916 yr Please clarify. Do you mean same panel and multiple aircraft, or multiple panels for the same aircraft, or a combination of both? Please be specific and I'll see what we can work out for you. For example: panel type(s), aircraft involved, vc or no vc, etc.Regards,Mel
November 25, 200916 yr You can have 2 panels with the same aircraft. Yes, I said the same aircraft. Take the C-172 for example. It has 2 panels, you will notice. It also has 2 models and several paints. They all are 'controled' via the 'panel=xx' line in cfg, you will notice. Same as controling the different paints, which are specified both in the 'title=xxx' name and the 'ui_variation=x' line. In other words the 'tittle=xx' name has to be unique for each '(fltsim.x)' section. Then the 'panel=x' has to be unique (panel=1, panel=2) or (panel=Lear, panel=KAir, etc).Look at the C-172 for ideas. Here is a diagram of what you COULD do with other aircraft (ie: different names) using the cfg lines to designate, and differentiate, which panel is used. Only the names have to be changed. Here is diagram. (This is the FS9 C-172 folders, and using that, since I already had the pic made up.)Chuck BNapamule
