merging

Featured Replies

does anyone have a flyable merge for the Dreamwings Q400 and Majestic plane?I've tried it myself but I cannot stop it bouncing when touching down. For taxi and takeoff it handles fine, but no matter how smooth the touchdown, the plane'll bounce about 20times on the nosewheel.I can't for the life of me understand why it does that.p.s I really want to fly the 400 as it'll generate more revenue as my two -300's do.average per flight for the q400 is $7000 while the -300 makes $3000 at most.thanks in advance to whoever knows how to merge them right.cheersJP.

How are you doing the merge JP?Usually the bouncing is due to the CG static height being off from the model. All my merges are done by simply replacing the model and editing the contact points in the cfg. Also copy over the lights section.

I'm using the Majestic aircraft.cfg because it does need some of the parameters inthere, then just copy in the cantact points and the lights.the curious bit is that the static cg height is exactly the same in both aircraft.cfg's andmany other parameters are the same as well.yet still,if I land, the craft'll bounce on the mainwheels but it comes from the nose which slams down many times. It has me stumped,I've merged the DW -100 and -200 effortlessly due to a mergeby one of the Majestic betatesters and that only required replacement of the contact pointsas they were changed in the latest release, but the Q400 I cannot get to fly nice
