AS6.5 WX-Influenced Texture Question

Featured Replies

I'm not sure if my sttings are correct to enable WX-Influenced Textures in FS9I'm not sure, if I have to select the WX-influenced Full Sky theme in the AS6 Options Graphic section or not.I'm asking, because with above settings every time I load the same saved wx-file for the same station I'll get different texture sets displayed in the right hand column of the ASG selection details. However, when there is no Full Sky Theme and no Cirrus theme selected under Graphics in the AS6 Options menu, then the graphic sets displayed in the ASG selection details will always be the same no matter what wx-file is loaded and no matter what station is chosen. Both can't be right! What am I doing wrong?Additional question: why are runway lights textures always automatically disabled when selecting WX-influenced textures?Wolfgang

Hi,Yes, Wx Influenced must be entered in those windows. Those lights are disabled because many users are using 3rd party lights and don't want them overwritten. Thanks,

Jim,Many thanks for your quick reply? But why are there completely different texture sets displayed (and I assume loaded) every time I load the same saved weather file for the same station?Wolfgang

Hi,Because for a certain condition there are a few different textures that chould be chosen by AS. That provides a bit of variety within each weather condition. Thanks,
