GPU related problem?

Featured Replies

Hi there, I have a strange problem with my FS9. It runs very well at 40 fps locked (OK, it decreases to 20 fps at Aerosoft EDDF in PMDG 747, but it is perfectly acceptable). But, I have this problem with ground textures - they are all blurried, when I fly. Not only in a dostance, but also near the aircraft. There is only one spot right below the aircraft, where the textures are not blurried.I have tried every single fs9.cfg tweak, no help, and not even a slight change. I have tried several different GPU drivers, no change. I think the problem might be related to the GPU, as I use good old nVidia 8800GTS 320 MB and I think it is not capable to run FS9 at FullHD resolution (1920x1080). May I have a point here? If so, could you recommend me new card, better than 8800 GTS, but with proce at around 100 Euros? This is a picture, how my GS looks like. The visibility is set to 60 miles, cloud draw distance is 30 miles.http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/7152/blurry.jpgThank you all for your help.

320MB VRAM is simply inadequate for a modern graphics processor, particularly when running high resolutions. 512MB is the new minimum.

But it should be enough for FS9, wouldn't it?

Apparently not. Not @ 1080P w/high settings anyway.
