December 3, 200916 yr After doing the Vancouver to SanFran tutorial flight about 10 times, and reading most of the LVLD 767 manual I'm having a little trouble with a different flight. I have FS Commander and been using that to create flight plans as well as using simroutes.com for assistance too. The thing is I can create a nice flight plan from KIAD to KLGA with KJFK as an alternate if need be. The issue is that when I go into FSX and program the FMC, everything is fine except when I go to the DEP/ARR page and select my runway it doesn't give me any SIDs to select, nor do I get to select any STARS on the arrival page. This SIDs and STARs procedure really confuses me. Let's say I go to simroutes and it gives me this as a flight plan: http://www.simroutes.com/fb2/Details.aspx?PlanID=9991CAPITAL7 PALEO V44 AGARD KORRY3 and the navigation log looks like this: (ugh, the table didnt line up correctly) Navigation LogDistance (NM)Time (434 TAS)IDENTNAMEFREQVIACRSLEGREMGONELEGREMETEKIADWashington Dulles Intl - -15000:000:190:00V44 - -15000:000:190:00AGARD 84-15000:000:190:00SPEAK KORRY38715135150:010:170:01ENOSmyrna111.40KORRY34615120300:010:150:03SKIPY KORRY33420100500:020:120:06BESSI KORRY3361387630:010:110:08EDJER KORRY3331275750:010:090:09DAVYS KORRY335570800:000:080:10HOLEY KORRY348466840:000:080:10BRAND KORRY348660900:000:070:11KORRY KORRY348555950:000:060:12RBVRobbinsville113.80KORRY34810451050:010:050:13TYKES KORRY3447381120:000:040:14MINKS KORRY3447311190:000:030:15RENUE KORRY34412191310:010:020:16APPLE KORRY3333161340:000:020:17PROUD KORRY3335111390:000:010:17KLGANew York Laguardia KORRY3331101500:010:000:19AIRAC 0711 (OCT25/07-NOV22/07)What should I be putting in the FMC for the ROUTE page to get to be able to select the SIDs and STARs settings for an ILS approach so I can use the localizer, etc? Currently in the FMC, it shows under the LEGS page the waypoints above but just has DIRECT, DIRECT, DIRECT, DIRECT, etc. Am I just ignorant or am I truely missing something here? Thanks for your help in advance!
December 3, 200916 yr First off, you need to ensure you have the SID/STAR/APP data loaded into your navdata for the LvlD.CAPITAL7, per the chart, is a radar vectors procedure, so you won't find it in the database. You should have the KORRY3, though, if you installed the procedures for KLGA in the database.scott s..
December 3, 200916 yr Should I just buy the latest and greatest AIRACs off navigraph site? I think 0912 is the latest so will installing this package be good to go? Or would I need more for the FMC?
