Flight1 has stated ALL their current products including the Meridian and UT will be FS2004 compatible. Yout really think they'd put all taht time into making UT just so they could release it a month and a half before 2004's release and have it not work ever again - come on!Ryan

Apologies to all. I am confident when the smoke clears all will be fine, and yes, the suppliers I mentioned are good people who have always treated me fairly, including Abacus. My level of frustration in anticipation of wanting COF bad enough to spit but having hopes dashed by the flood of bad news and unwillingness of most "in-the-know" to discuss things prior to the "official release" just set me off. There's more about compatibility in this thread than in any I've read so far. Pity I had to start it off as a sacrificial whining lamb. ;-)When it's official and those on the bleeding edge are free to talk, perhaps some should re-visit this thread to share all they've learned about the tricks to jumping through the backward-compatibility hurdles. From what I see, there are several and not all of them are for the Windows-challenged.All this from the mis-information guru, of course so take my comments with a shaker of salt. ;-)
