Does FMC depend on any FS9 nav data? Newer ILS not tuning...

Featured Replies

I'm unable to tune the KRNO I-AGY localizer (109.90). I've encountered this problem once before at a different airport but decided to investigate this time :)I'm using AIRAC 0912 from www.navigraph.com and I've verified the \FMCWP\NAVDATA\wpNavAPT.txt and wpNavAID.txt files contain the ILS information. This approach was added after FS9 was released, and default aircraft using the FS9 nav data are obviously unable to tune this localizer. However, I thought the PMDG FMC relied entirely on it's own nav data, so I'm a bit confused.Anyone have any insight, or are able to tune this successfully? :)Thanks for any help!Brandon
