Tile Proxy error message (FSX SP1)

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,I have Flight Simulator X Service Pack 1 installed, but when I run TP then try to do a free flight in FSX, the TileProxy window says there's some compatibility problem, probably because I don't have FSX SP1 installed (which I do!). I tried re-installing TP but I still get the same message. Can anyone help?

No problem with Tileproxy and SP1 Shabeel. If you've not used it before, it takes a bit of setting up.Have you put the proxyuser.ini in place and configured it?Where have you placed the Tileproxy folder, Photoreal World folder and cache folders?IAN

My Tileproxy folder is in Y:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator XMy cache.service1 and TileProxy Photoreal World are in Y:\Program Files\Microsoft GamesMy proxyUser.ini is in the Tileproxy folder and configured - I have set it to use Service 1.I have FSX SP1 installed.Despite all of this, everytime I load a free flight I get this message from Tileproxy:proxyUser: FSX signalled a SIMCONNECT_EXCEPTION_VERSION_MISMATCH

Just guessing now, but perhaps you have a proxyuser.ini file for a different version to the version of tileproxy you are using.IAN
