Liverys and FS9 windows 7 compatability issues.....

Featured Replies

I ran a compatibility check on the saved files for my MD-11 and it said the addon liveries were incompatable, so that would explain whey they won't install, does anyone know how to fix this?Michael Pare.

Hi Michael, what exactly is the problem with the liveries? The installer does not run properly or the liveries don't appear?I just installed a couple of liveries (GE_AM, GE_LH, PW_DL3, GEF_SUF, PWF-5XF) without any problems using W7 x64 Ultimate. I don't think that there is a problem with the installers. I just started them with UAC set to "Always notify". When I start an installer, I receive the UAC warning dialog "Dow you want to allow....", after confirming it the normal installer dialog appears. Be sure that the installer points to the proper location of your FS9 installation. In my case it is "D:\Games\FS2004". After finishing the installer, the aircraft liveries show up in FS2004.If you have further details or questions, or when you want me to test something let me know.Good luck.Rainer OberstEDDL
