I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 64bit Professional. I have FSX and Acceleration. This was a fresh install on a new hard drive. My problem now is that when I install add on scenery and then navigate in FSX via the add new scenery button to where the new scenery files reside, FSX does not see the contents of the new scenery folder and therefore does not include it/update the database with it. The files are however clearly visible in Windows Explorer in the correct place in the FSX folder.These add on scenery files worked without issue on my previous Vista 32 bit machine.Any ideas on why this is happening?Thanks in advance.

Its a bug with FSX and Win7 - when installing your addon scenery do the normal routine of finding the scenery then click on the the window in the middle with mouse and it should enter it into the scenery cfg. Just happens to be something with win7 and FSX.Have attached piccy

Wow thank you so much bursco! - I would never have figured that out. Wonder how anyone did! Will give it a try tonight. I was really worried that my fresh installation was already corrupt in some way.
