Dreamfleet 152 Strobe Lights

I was wondering, should we be able to see the strobe lights from within the VC on the Dreamfleet 152? I know they're visible on the Archer, but maybe they're on top of the wings on a 152 so not visible from inside the plane?Best,Joel

One of the 152's I flew during my private and comercial training was equiped with aftermarket strobes, and they are not visible from the cockpit.

You should NEVER be able to see a strobe from the cockpit in flight. It would blind you at night and could hypnotize you too. That's one reason they paint the back of props black. It eliminates the reflections from any light source. That too can affect the pilot. The only time you should see strobes is when you're on the ground. I generally wait until I am away from people to turn on the strobes at night. Nav lights and beacons give a good enough visual for safety. You don't want to blind the poor line boy!Don

Guest Id Rather Be Flying

"You should NEVER be able to see a strobe from the cockpit in flight"I can see them in the 172R that I fly either day or night. NOT the actual bulb but the flash of it from the cockpit.

As has been said several times before, the 152 is not Dreamfleet's, it is from Flight1, and gathers the work from several individuals including (But not limited to) Dreamfleet.Daniel P.

The more moisture in the air the more you will see it. In dry air, you shouldn't see it.Don
