I seem to remember in the captain sim 757 there is a way of programming a runway extension into the flight plan.Firstly can anyone remember how to do this and what criteria you need to be able to do this?Secondly can this be done in the leveld 767??Thanks Tom

Not sure what you mean but will give it a go as the procedure to enter the arrival runway is really simple in both the CS757 and LD767. Just go to the FMC, click on the Arr/Dep button, click on arrival airport, then find the runway you have been cleared to land or you want to land on and click the button next to it. After you do this, make sure you go to the Legs page and fix any discontinuity as there WILL be one. Simply click on the button below the word Discontinuity, then click on the blank space showing the discontinuity. Click on Execute and you're good to go. BTW, the CS757 and LD 767 have excellent manuals and instructions on using the FMC. It's not as difficult as it may seem to use the FMC although I found it daunting at first. Hope this is what you were looking for!Best regards and Merry Christmas,Jim
