When you change views, text in the upper right corner indicates the current view and zoom factor. It stays on for about 10-15 seconds. Is there a command to disable this feature?Thanks!

To turn off the red warning text messages, change these lines in FSX.cfg and change True to FalseInfoBrakesEnable=FalseInfoParkingBrakesEnable=FalseInfoPauseEnable=FalseInfoSlewEnable=FalseInfoStallEnable=FalseInfoOverspeedEnable=FalseThese are located in the [Display] section of your config file. Edit your fsx.cfg (with Notepad or any other text file editor). Under the section [Main] set HideInfoText to zero:

Another tip: change the ChangeTime to something like 1.000000. This way the message still appears, but a LOT shorter. I have disabled most messages but the zoom factor can be handy every now and then, so instead of removing it completely, I just made it appear shorter. [Display]ChangeTime=1.000000
