Making addon AFCAD files work

nope, can't get either of those techniques to work..I'm in Win7 64 btw.I've right clicked everywhere, and either nothing happens, or if I'm in the file area, I get the normal right click file menu. I've also tried adding folders above, and none of them will work. I know a lot of people are using the right click trick, but doesn't seem to be working for me. I found a forum post where it didn't work for someone else, and they were able to make it work by clicking on the drop down at the top and double left clicking on the folder. That didn't work for me either.I did just find a shareware program called Addit for $25, which works, although it's not recognizing the name of the addon correctly (though I think I know a work-around).
