December 28, 200916 yr I live in Perth Western Australia and fly out of that airport every week in a jet.At this time of the year Easterlies are prevalent and the turbulence off the hills can be quite eye opening at times. I live at the base of these hills and this morning they were reasonably strong. However ASA doesnt depict this turbulence well. I took off this morning in the sim, and the turbulence was pretty much non-existent.Is there anyway to increase this effect so the turbulence is at least noticeable at low altitude over hills?Running FS9 by the way. Thanks,Andy
December 28, 200916 yr Hi,In ASA on the Options screen, Wind Options tab, make sure the 4 sliders under Thermals and Vertical Air are set at %100.Then try a flight.
