FSX Add-on Panel help please

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, my problem is all the aircraft i have on flight sim that i download a panel for seems to flicker, I follow the correct steps to installing the panels in the aircraft i have, But when on flight sim say i click the GPS icon, and then close if off the whole screen will flicker black and then return to normal, Its only with the panels i add to the aircraft, Does anyone know a solution to this, I will be very grateful. Thanks, Mike

I had a problem where I would open the gps or autopilot panel and the screen would flash and then show the panel. But now it has gone. The only thing I can think of that solved this was to turn off flying tips in the flight sim options. This was something that nickn mentioned in his fsx setup guide. So I'd try thaT first.

Thanks i will, i just started a flight in the Posky 767 but converted for FSX, And the other problem i noticed is the sound, I would shut down the engines, change the view to look at the aircraft outside, Then when i go back to the flight deck view, it suddenly sounds like the engines are still running, if i push Q to mute it then un mute it everything goes back to normal.. Do you have any idea how i can fix that? thank you

I'm stumped on that one. I wouldn't know where to start. I have a couple of problems with sound myself particularly with the maddog md80 I get sound effects for it going crazy when I startup fsx and select the plane. So I can't help on that I'm afraid
