FS2004 blinks using the ATI 9800 - Beta Testers

Featured Replies

I read a blurb somewhere that the screens blink when loading or when a some new panel parts are called up. Couldnt remember what forum so decided to post. Does anyone know anything about this? I just got the board and wondered if this had been solved? I do remember the poster said that trying different drivers did not solve it. Is this just a remote incident?RegardsBobG

I heard it was the same with the 9700 as well...

bumpDoes anyone know if MS is working on this or again is it an isolated incident?ThanksBobG

Hi Bob,I am using the 9800 Pro in FS2004 and never experience any such problems. I am currently using the Catalyst 3.5 drivers.

How about trying the following and find out about scrolling the text up and down and report back:This is from a post at allnodesbusy.com:"The Radeon does run great once you have FS2004 set up and provided you do not use the kneeboard and do not need the Learning Centre... I have tried it on two different machines;"

Ok Thanks. Im just trying to get all my ducks in a row b4 fs2004 is released. RegardsBobG

Heard that the same flashing occurs with the 9500 Pro.Tim13
