Carenado C210 docs and popup panels?

Featured Replies

I'm considering the Carenado C210, but I've got some questions for those of you who already own it.First, what kind of docs come with it? Mainly, does it come with any performance charts?Since the engine guages are on the right side of the cockpit, does the 2D panel have popup engine guages? All the screen shots of the 2D panel I've seen show the yoke, can you remove it?

"First, what kind of docs come with it? Mainly, does it come with any performance charts?"Comes with the standard (basic) performance charts that seem to be taken from the Cessna POH. Also docs included for panel layout, as well as Navomatic AP use."Since the engine guages are on the right side of the cockpit, does the 2D panel have popup engine guages?"I've not found any... but then all I've been doing is just pan my view right and forward (eight way hat switch). Very easy to fly the airplane in VC, too."All the screen shots of the 2D panel I've seen show the yoke, can you remove it?"Yes.Hope this helps,

1. The Cessna checklist and performance charts are provided in pdf.2. There is no pop-up window nor is there a need for it. A quick forward right look will allow you to see your mp and ff. Which is what you do in real life anyways.3. Yes, you can remove the yoke.

Also, if you click on the gauge to the right of the yoke it turns into the tachometer.

Is that (digital guages, etc.) explained in the documentation/ or did I miss it in my (admittedly) quick read?

Thanks guys, just what I needed to know. I think I'm gonna pick it up.

I've haven't read the docs. I just click everything on the panel including areas where there is nothing. Just click the center of the gauge and a digital readout opens (altimeter, etc). Jimhttp://www.northern-exposure.org/sig/ne_sig.jpg
