January 2, 201016 yr Hi,Seek Station is a search feature. If you want it to update, then on that Map screen Lock to FS position must be On. If you tell me you can't check that box with AS and FS running, that means that FS and AS are not communicating properly.
January 3, 201016 yr Author Hi Jim,Yes the "Lock to FS" is checked.Bill Clark Windows 10 Pro, Ver 21H2 CPU I5-8600K 5.0GHz, GPU Nvidia RTX 3090 VRAM 24GB Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7, 2TB M2.NVMe, RAM 32GB
January 3, 201016 yr Hi Bill,OK so now I'm not sure what the question/issue is! If both boxes are checked On and FS is running, then that Seek Station box will show your current location in FS.
January 3, 201016 yr Author Jim,What is happening, is that the "Seek Station" ICAO identifier, never gets updated as the plane moves on, unless I revert back to the reports page where the station is updated shortly after the tab is clicked on. So when I go back to the Map page, then the Seek station identifier is updated to the next station (same as what appeared on the Reports page). In other words, the station on the map page appears to be static forever unless I take the steps above.Bill Windows 10 Pro, Ver 21H2 CPU I5-8600K 5.0GHz, GPU Nvidia RTX 3090 VRAM 24GB Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7, 2TB M2.NVMe, RAM 32GB
January 3, 201016 yr Hi,I now see what you mean. That Seek Station window is more of a search feature and less of a tracking feature. The Map and Report screen are for tracking flights.
January 4, 201016 yr Author Jim,Are you saying the the ICAO airport identifier in the Seek Station check box will not change throughout the entire flight? Is this by design?Bill Windows 10 Pro, Ver 21H2 CPU I5-8600K 5.0GHz, GPU Nvidia RTX 3090 VRAM 24GB Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7, 2TB M2.NVMe, RAM 32GB
January 4, 201016 yr Hi,If you stay on the Map screen--correct.Yes, by design. That is a "search" box, not a "tracker" box.
January 4, 201016 yr Author OK, now I understand............I will ignore that it never changes.Thanks for your help,Bill Clark Windows 10 Pro, Ver 21H2 CPU I5-8600K 5.0GHz, GPU Nvidia RTX 3090 VRAM 24GB Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7, 2TB M2.NVMe, RAM 32GB
