CH FLightSIm Yok and XP

Featured Replies

Just installed windws XP pro. I have the CH Flight Sim yoke (non usb).Is there a driver on the ch website to download so I can select this yoke from the controller window in XP?

Why dont you look and see :)

Downloading the latest version of CH Control Manager is the only way that I found to get the XP driver. You must download it and install it but you need not use it to create any custom maps. Just leave it alone and that should fix your problems; at least it fixed all of the issues that I experienced with my USB yoke and pedals after I got XP. You'll find it at www.chproducts.com of course. R-

For the analog yokes, you want to find CHANLG08.EXE on the CH site. There's a link on my "Links" page that will take you there if you can't find it. You don't really want the Control Manager, it's for the USB devices only.- BobThe StickWorkshttp://www.stickworks.com

I've got the same yoke. I upgraded my machine (from Win95, as I recall,) and when I got it there was no XP driver yet. CH posted one on their site a few weeks later. I downloaded it and installed it, and I've had no problems since. Just follow their directions and you should have no problems.

Oops, sorry wan2fly, I didn't mean to steer you toward the wrong driver package. I guess I quit reading before I got to the, "(non usb)" part. R-
