What's Up With Shaders?

This site clears the shader object cache and changes how some reflections are rendered. I also heard that shaders are global to the sim so what other changes will there be? Any cockpit reflection changes? Just wondering. FSW seems to mostly affect cloud / water reflections and wave action can seem almost real at certain views.jja
