ASX Blocky Cloud Textures

Featured Replies

Hi all,Out of the blue and all of a sudden, I'm getting blocky cloud textures in FSX when using ASX.I used a historical weather file and though I didn't have this issue yesterday, I do today. There has been no changes to my hardware or driver set-ups.Am using FSX SP1, ASX Build 1169 (SP2), WinXP Pro SP2. Any suggestions as to what may be the cause?Cheers,Mike T.

Hi,ASX provides weather data only and does not have any cloud textures. It will use whatever textures are in FSX. Have you adjusted any cloud settings in FSX lately or added any environmental texture programs?

Hi Jim,Thanks for responding.Got it...my fault...:(I remembered that I adjusted the SwarmCloud.fx file to solve the popping cloud issue, but forgot to delete the Shaders folder under Documents and Settings. You'd think I'd have read my file on FSX tweaks all the way through but NOOOOOO... Cheers,Mike T.
