Low resolution

FSX SP1How i can fix it and improve the textures ?fmhoiq.jpg

Make sure you're flying in an area with good high res coverage and using the proper service. Service 3 is good for the U.S, Service 1 for Europe.

yeah, make sure the service is best for where u are flying, i swapped to msn from yahoo, seems better coverage here in the UK, im really quite disapointed that one of the most beautiful parts of the UK, the NW highlands, has such awful cover - ah well.... :)

The TileProxy window is complaining that it can't work with the cache folder YOU referenced in your .ini file.- does that folder exist?- do you have permission to write to it?Blocky textures can result from ONLY having low resolution imagery OR setting a low resolution in FSX settings. In FSX your GRAPHICS - Global options should be max, SCENERY-TEXTURE RESOLUTION should be at 1m or 60cm in the display settings. The .ini needs to specify the best resolution you want to see and themax_lod=13 andmin_level=10max_level=15level_mapping=10,11,12,14,14,15sections have to match (lower section 2 higher than the upper section)and these SHOULD be NO GREATER than the best imagery available at that service IN THAT LOCATION.But if the FSX settings are OK, then perhaps the issue results from the problem evident in the TP window... you aren't using any better imagery than can be placed in memory because your cache location is not available.Loyd

Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro
