Even with that computer you will get performance problems if you max out all display settings in FSX.What bothers me is the 8GB system memory. What motherboard do you have? With an i7 975 you should normally use tripple channel RAM, that is three memory sticks (6GB) or six sticks (12GB). 8GB???Did you OC the system your self? Could you post pictures from CPU-Z. One picture for each of the tabs CPU, Mainboard and Memory. Here is a link to a good tuning guide written by Nick Needham: http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=29041

Ok here it goes .. plz refer to attachment.

Your system is most likely clocking down. CPU automatically adjusts to load conditions. While in FSX it should be a it's max mhz and then lets say you alt-tab out and check CPU-Z if will be clocked down because FSX has stopped and you are in 2D desktop view. Run FSX in widowed mode while having cpu-z running and your mhz should be back up to 3.33 if not o/c'd.

Strange that your first post with system information states that you have 8GB system memory. CPU-Z says 12GB, which is correct.

i am also wondering . as physically i see my memory there are 6 pcs x 2 GB = 12GB but dunno why but in system properties it shows 8 GB i really dont understand . i talk to my computer technicall support team they told me that rest is used by graphics card . i really dont understand .. is that possible.
