January 22, 201016 yr Hello everybody, I encountered a problem with autogen (especially buildings) in my FS2004. During flight autogen buildings without any textures (i.e. white boxes) appear randomly on the ground. It looks like the picture here: http://www.flightsim.cz/forum_prispevek.ph...68731&lan=0 However my case is different, because the white boxes appear everywhere (e.g. on hills but not on water). One set (e.g. 5 boxes) appear for a second a then disappear, because there is no texture on them. After 1 or 2 more seconds, new set of boxes appears on different places and this cycle repeats. I tried a few places in Europe and the behaviour was the same for all of them. I think it's definitelly related to autogen, because if I disable it completely (slider to none), the problem disappear. Any other setting of Autogen slider brings it back. All other autogen objets (including buidlings in cities) are displayed normally.I observe this problem only during last few days. Recently, I installed following sceneries:- LIML (ISD project) including patch and 2009 update- freeware ESGG (fsnordic.net)- freeware EGPD (fsnordic.net) Both are officially for FS2002, but works in 2004 as well. I have tried to uninstall all three when the problem occured, but the autogen problem remained. I aslo disabled and as the next attempt enabled all records in scenery library, but both steps did not produce any result. I removed the default.xml file in Autogen folder, but no change. Then I tried to restore FS original scenery (through Ground Environment backup/restore procedure), nothing has changed. The last attempt was to delete all scenery.dat files and let them recreate automatically, but the problem is still present.I use FS Global 2008, Ultimate Terrain Europe and Ground Environment (not PRO).If somebody could give me any hint, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
January 24, 201016 yr Bump! Can really noone of the fs9 gurus help this newbie?Bobor, I would also post the question in the AVSIM scenery design forum http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showforum=123Wolfgang
January 25, 201016 yr Hello Wolfko, thanks for suggestion to post to another forum, but during the weekend I managed to fix the problem. As I expected there was a missing texture for autogen objects (trees), but I did not mention the trees were not displayed at all. My fault. As a last attempt I downloaded resized autogen textures (Bart Dylkiewicz - Resized Autogen Textures - http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=34267 ) and discovered there are no trees textures present in my installation of FS.So the conclusion is to doublecheck the autogen textures whether the set is complete.
