January 24, 201016 yr Hi all.I'm getting the Out of Memory message and lock up after about 3 hours of a 3'20 flight from KORD to Yellowknife in the PMDGMD11C. I've tried removing addons one by one (xclassUS, GEPro and REX2.0) and tried adjusting the USERVA figure, although I'm not sure that's relevant in 64bit. I also clocked back to normal settings on my i5 750 but nothing works. I've turned all my settings down such as autogen, clouds and traffic but to no avail!!.... Anyone care to speculate why it's happening in 64bit and what else I might try? Please!!! I've installed using NickN's guide to the letter apart from the trashy radeon.... It's buttery smooth and framerate is fine... JimSystem isi5 750 @3.8Ghz (tried at stock also)4Gb corsair 1600 ddr3Radeon 4850... (due for the chop on payday)FSX Accell on it's own HDusing the framerate limiter Java thing at 30fps. (tried with and without) :( Win7 64bit Evaluation copy 7100 :(
January 24, 201016 yr Why do you use a beta OS, with this nice rig?Get Windows XP 64 bit, as "The Man" says!Oops... This is the W7 forum, but then at least get a completed W7 product...

This is the W7 forum, but then at least get a completed W7 product...I have a dual boot with Vista 64, getting missing aircraft textures with that... What exactly is wrong with using the 7 Beta? When it expires I'll get full win7. I'm not made of money ;-)Thanks for your response anyway.Jim
January 24, 201016 yr I get your point, just do not understand you expect flawless performance form a test/beta Windows 7!Anyway, here's something that might help:http://forums.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?t=204586http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=240021- and this one for setting up FSX, you possibly have the settings too high:http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=29041Good luck!
January 24, 201016 yr The BCD edit fix for 32 bit systems (USERVA=) does not apply for 64 bit systems. The luxury of 64 bit systems is that all the memory can be used. What exactly did the out of memory message state (check your Event Viewer)? You could have a bad memory module and you might run a diagnosis of your memory. But it sounds like to me that your system is running very hot after 3 hours and that is causing it to crash. Your system is crashing, not FSX. Best regards,Jim

To remove it type bcedit /deletevalue uservaDouble check the value is gone by typing bcedit again and ensuring userva is not present.Make sure your page file is set to system managed size.
