how to include airways in super flight planner ?

Featured Replies

First off hi to all this is my first post as usually i find all i need from the search on this great forum however i am having problems making realistic flightplans as after i have obtained the routes for my selected flight and input them into sfp they all go Direct to next waypoint and i cant for the life of me work out how to change this so that it follows airways like a real flight so currently my plan for example EHAM-EGKK is as follows:Eham / To SID / GORLO / Direct / REFSO / Direct / RIMBU / Direct / ODROB / Direct / KOPUL / STAR / EGKKHow do i make it like this Eham / To SID / GORLO / L980 / REFSO / UY76 / RIMBU / Y76 / ODROB / UY76 / KOPUL / STAR / EGKKAny help greatly appreciated i spent 3-6 hours yesterday without even loading Fsx let alone flying it this is driving me mad i am pretty sure i am being a total noob and its simple but i cant find the answer lol :(

I don't know SFP, but in the flight plan section of the FMC there's a VIA column. Ok, once you get the plan, see what nav aid you'll enter the jetway, and where you'll exit the jetway. For instance AAA to BBB to CCC on jetway J100Enter AAA for a direct to.Then enter BBB with a "via" of J100Then enter CCC with a "via" of J100Then direct to destination.Actually I think only AAA and CCC of the jetway need to be added. You need a good FMC for this of course.

Oooops, you want SFP to do this. Oh well. I'll leave this in case it's slightly helpful.Perhaps look for a "VIA" column in SFP???

Thanks timers for the input but yes for sfp unfortunately (sure i spelt that wrong lol) but yes i got the idea for doing the routes this way from the fmc on the level d 767. The terrible inbuilt fsx flight planner as will auto plan them for you but cant seem to select them manually when you edit the flight plan and i have this same prob with sfp i can see the via column and the direct but for all the clicking in the universe it wont let me select the damn box :( sometimes i am just frustrated by my apparent lack of skill at these little things that i never used to worry about lol i just hope someone on here can figure it out Calling all clever people with time on their hands pls download sfp4 and try to find a way to do this as i cant figure it :( its so annoying but after the level-d i will have to wait a while till i get anymore payware cos i need money to make my p.c into a serious fsx machine as i am now thoroughly addicted lol So please help an addict today :(
