Yes would like to know if there is or will pmdg have a cold and dark start for the js41 I enjoy the aircraft greatly and would love to have ths as a cold and dark aircraft when i call the aircraft up engines running is not realistic and sure others would enjoy this as well gives a more sense of realism. Is there anway u cn get the engines to not be on when you load the aircraft?Thank YouLewis Brooks

Lewis,Numerous ways of getting a cold & dark cockpit. If you search the this forum for cold & dark, you can find a lot of information! Like this:

• Use FSUIPC to get a c&d cockpit: use Guenter Steiner's code
• Someone even wrote a little program to create a c&d cockpit

Or you try my way:

1. load the cessna 172
2. shutdown the engines, magentos and avionics
3. save this as a (default) flight

After you've created that flight, you get a c&d cockpit quite easy:

1. load the saved cessna flight
2. set the airport
3. set the time
4. load the js41
5. unfeather the prop's
6. set some switches to c&d (avionics, batteries, generators, anti-ice, standby attitude indicator, flows and gust lock).
