January 26, 201016 yr Just wondering if the 'Vista Patch' has to be used when running the Wilco 737 under Windows7?more often than not the VISTA update has been needed to work with win7. there are a small minority of users that do not get the 737 to work in win7. of those that don't get the 737 to work most can get the simulation to function doing a clean disk full install of win7 (not an update); and/or install FSX in it's own director (ex: c:/FS) not in /programs; and/or turning off 'UAC' BEFORE installing the game.still ... a small number never get the 737 to work.AND there are some that have no problems running the winXP version for FSX on a win7 system.old support forum:http://iemit.com/forumcan be searched, no longer open to new postssupport forum:http://forum.iemit.com-- D.
