Virtual cockpit viewpoint wrong

Featured Replies

Hi! I just purchased and downloaded the 747-800i/F, and I experience a problem with the viewpoint of the VC. All VC views have their viewpoints set behind in the passenger area, and through a glitch I can see the VC up front. I cant find any other posts about it, so Im worried something might have gone awry on my part. My 747-400 works perfectly! Please help :)EDIT: Ok, my bad! I just found that by using the config setup I had to choose between flying 400 or 800, and by choosing correctly the viewpoint is correctly placed. Sorry for the false alarm! :)Also a heads up on the pmdg site - the link to the support forums isnt working correctly it seems. Earlier I got a 404 not found, and now the link is gone (where it says "if you are already a registered member click here" (where "here" should be a link to the forums, but it is not)).

Same problem here. Can move the eyepoint to the correct position manually though, so its not the end of the world.

Before opening FSX, you have to open your PDMG 747-8 & 400 Config Manager (on your Desktop) and select the747-8i Mode, save your choice and then only start FSX and select the PDMG 747 -8 version. Please read the PDF-file entitled "Read this before flying" included in the download packageAender

Yeah I just figured that out too. Sorry.
