February 1, 201016 yr I am flying the Flight1 Pilatus PC-12, one of the most underrated airplanes out there!! And I just installed a bunch of aerosoft scenery for Europe. EDDF. ESSA. I was flying ESSA to EDDF, punched in the GPS 25L approach, and acitvated it, right before the turn to final, the game completely froze, then a d3 dll error popped up and the game quit :(So is this a problem with the scenery not being able to handle the gps approach, or is it a problem with the basic gps in the F1 PC-12 addon?ThanksAlex

Did you mean d3d9.dll? And, if so, did you install the freebie addon "EMBS Series for MSFS which installs a modified d3d9.dll. In any case, check your main FSX directory and make sure you have d3d9.dll in this folder. If could be corrupt and you may have to do a FSX repair. The problem is not with the GPS approach. It could be a problem with FSX calling for a gauge or file and it's not there or it's corrupted. You might also try uninstalling the PC-12 and reinstalling. Best regards,Jim
February 1, 201016 yr I run vista x64 with 4gb of ram if that helpsI fly the PC-12 a fair bit so I know and love it. However, the question I ask is "Did you have this gauge file problem before you installed the new scenery?". If you didn't then I think you can deduce the culprit really easily. I don't think that it is likely to be the PC-12 itself as the GPS's on board use the standard FSX GPS innards. You could try the same flight in an aircraft with the standard GPS and see if that performs the same way as the PC-12.
