February 2, 201016 yr I'm flying 767PIC on FS2002/Windows XPAfter loading my planned cruise altitude in the perf init page I go to the activated flight plan legs page and see a different top of climb altitude. It is usually higher and I assume the FMC optimum altitude for the leg length. (i.e. I load FL170 for a 300nm leg due to ATC constraints and the FMC has me climbing to FL 290.)The actual FMC honors whatever cruise altitude you input. Is this a 767PIC anomaly or just my setup? Does level-D behave this way as well? Thanks,John Z.
