Weird fault in the 747-8 model

Recommended Posts

Hello,Now I have this problem occuring since yesterday. Before yesterday the 747-8 was running just fine. When switching to the 2d cockpit, my FPS drops from 30 to 4 and there is constantly a 'busy' logo in the screen. This stays so till I restart FSX.Then besides the 2d cockpit issue there is a problem with the hull of the plane. When I go in the outside view of the plane then I see black wings and enginesand a lot of seats and a nose landing gear. This wont recover till I restart FSX. Even in the basic menu of FSX where you can preview the plane there are a lotof seats to look at.Now it is not nessesary to have both problems at the same time. They are acting independently. In the end you will have both problems at the samen time. Then the problem is always there to reproduce. Now my question is, what went wrong. Do I need to reinstaal the plane or is there something else goeing on. Are there maybe more people with the same issues?

Did you do the SPECIAL configuration in the Pruduct Extension configuration manager. Also, you may have to adjust your sliders,i.e. scenery, graphics, frame rate.I get this from time to time if I'm flying in an intense scenery area, but I also have REX2 and GEX installed in a medium level rig.Guess its time to get a new rig when I have the moolah LOL.Ron

Well the problem did occur in an area where I flew before with the 747-8 with the same settings as before. From one flight to the other I had this problem.I will make a test flight now to see how it goes.

And then a complete reinstall and manual removal of the files and folders gave the sollution. Now its running fine again and my FPS are up from 10-12 in the VC of the 744 to 30-35 in the VC of the 748. Outside view gives me 80fps.
