February 8, 201016 yr Thanks it helped a little but it still shutters but i have really good fps its very oddHehe! Can't get everything, eh?You have to go take the advise from Mister Nick from A to B, C to Z etc.Do not skip anything, you'll be amazed when done!Hmmm... 30+ FPS in VC, not bad, really...Remember, when you change to outside view the FPS off course decreases, lots of more stuff to load and view...
February 11, 201016 yr First off, i think fsx performs much smoother with sp1 and sp2 instead of acceleration. 3 times i have put acceleration on my system, and removed it again. Last time i removed acceleration cause it makes the plane loose control when you use time accelleration, tried with sp2 and no such issues.I normally get higher fps outside than inside, few points1 - check your aircraft detail complexity in fsx settings maybe too high.2 - Have you installed the right SDk, in your case acceleration SDK3 - Try another plane , see if you still getting more fps outside than inside.4 - Defrag defrag defrag5 - If you using cpu with 4 cores try fsx affinitymask of 14, moves fsx to last four cores so things can be smoother generally6 - FSX is always smoother if you set fps limit to a value that is slightly less than the average your cpu can handle. my fps set to 40, my system can average 60fps. February 11, 201016 yr Thanks it helped a little but it still shutters but i have really good fps its very oddHave you applied any other tweaks other than what Nick recommends? If so one or more could be the problem.Plus if you are using a quad then set affinitymask to either 3 or 15. (2 cores or 4 cores)
