iFLY 747-400: Houston, We Have A Problem.

Featured Replies

I recently downloaded the iFLY 747-400 for FSX, and I installed the service pack that has all the latest updates. But there's one problem:THE PANELS DON'T WORK!I don't have any gauges. The 2d panel isn't even there; the lower half of my screen is just black. The VC has chunks of 3d objects missing: just a hole where the autopilot should be, and floating buttons on the main pedestal with the radios. It flies beautifully; but I don't have anything to fly with! No gauges! Zip!Nada!ZILCH!Please, help! I know this can be fixed, and I'm not stupid; I've tried the ways that make immediate sense (Or so I think...) and nothing has happened.I am now at the mercy of the generosity of the members of AVSIM; but I have no worries; someone always answers the call. I will soon upload pictures so you can see exactly what the issue is. In the meantime, any advice or trouble shooting is appreciated. I really look forward to flying this thing.

UPDATE: Here are the pictures. I recently installed SP3 from iFLY, and it gave me the results below. However, I still can't get it to work. Was I supposed to leave the installation process alone? Was the setup file already configured to put everything in the right spot? I've tried moving things around, but to no avail.Any and all help is appreciated!

Ok. Obviously nobody cares. So where should I post this so I can expect to get some help?I've looked for an official iFly website, but it appears that they don't have one.So, really, ANY help is appreciated at this point. Thanks! (For nothing, I guess...)

It's not a question of "not caring." In order for anyone to even begin to help, they'd either have to have already installed it, or take the time and effort to d/l and install it.I do note that...IMPORTANT: The iFly 747-400 WILL NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY without FSUIPC4 4.12 or higher.also...Any questions or comments please contact me by email at: szm99 at sina.com or Jiangwei_Shen at hotmail.comReplace "at" with the @ character of course...

I already have FSUIPC, but it still doesn't work. Well, it flies and everything, you know what I mean. I don't mean that it doesn't work at all, I'm just having these problems in the cockpit with instruments and such. Thanks for replying though! :(
