FS 2004 Night Landing Awesome!

Featured Replies

I wish I had a screen shot.. But the runway lighting is a major improvement over FS 2002. It is spectacular! Also the aircraft landing lights actually light up the runway..Amazing.. Get your copy tomorrow!Barry

>Also the aircraft landing lights actually light up the runway..They did that in FS2002.

Landing lights did light the rnwy in 2002 but in 2004 they are much improved. To me it does not "wash" out the scene and they seem to project further out. This all applies to taxi lights as well.Phill Roath

As the previous poster said...I always found the FS2002 landing lights to relaly wash out and muck up the "visuals" on landing. The FS2004 landing light effect is much more clear. No longer are you looking at a wash of grey, but you can see the taxiway/runway more clearly, the lines, and especially the grass/pavement boundry.Aside from that, the runway approach lighting - (drool) - much improved. Same goes for the airport beacons - which are quite possibly TOO powerful. :) -Greg

Good to see the landing lights are fixed!

The point is that it is runway and aircraft lighting are much improved!I see a big difference between FS 2002 and FS 2004Barry
