After a month using the new system, I'm very happy, and here are some observations: - I locked my FPS at 25 and put all sliders to the right, except that I turned off auto gen (which I don't care for), left water at 2x low, and turned off road traffic- I am using Ultimate Traffic 2 with target FPS at 15, and get a lot of traffic- DX10 mode is faster/smoother than DX 9 mode- Some scenery developers, especially Aerosoft, need to patch some of their products for DX10 mode- I get between 15 and 25 FPS, but once in a while it might drop to 10 FPS on major airports on a very overcast day with lots of air traffic- I got one fatal error flying the LDS 767 when swtiching from 2D to virtual cockpit, but it has not happened again- I got one more fatal error out of nowhere flying the same plane duyring cruise from ATL to JFK- Two fatal errors in one month is not a big deal for me, but I wasn't able to determine why they happened- I've had no problems with other addons like , FS Genesis terrain, Wilco Embraer E-Jets and Regional Jets, FSDT Sceneries, LatinVFR sceneries, ImagineSim sceneries, and Blue Print sceneries Cheers!LuisKMIA

Nice to hear you are enjoying the FSX experience with your 64 bit system. I think you turned down the right sliders as the ones you mentioned (autogen/water/road traffic) are the ones that have a major impact on FPS. You didn't mention it in your review above, but you also need to edit your FSX.cfg and add the BufferPool tweak and HighMem fix pinned on the FSX Forum by ******* Bojote if you haven't already. That could eliminate any further crashes.Best regards,Jim

Wow! Adding the lines below to FSX.cfg has not only eliminated Fatal Error issues with LDS 767-300 and/or ATI cards, but this change has also given me smoother graphics and a slight FPS bump (2 -3).[bufferPools]UsePools=0 [GRAPHICS]HIGHMEMFIX=1 Thanks Jim for referring me to the post, and Nick and ******* for all the hard work to determine these improvements!Happy flying!LuisKMIA
