I currently run ASv6.5 with the integrated graphics. Am I correct in assuming that the new ASE is only the weather generator and to get the better cloud graphics I would need to purchase X graphics as well?ThanksDave

Hi Dave,ASX, ASA and now ASE have all just been weather programs with no included textures.X Graphics is for FSX only and if you have have been using ASv6.5 with FSX you have been just using the weather portion and not the graphics anyway. To best help you out I need to know if you are using FS2004 or FSX for the majority of your flying.

Hi Jim,I mainly use FS9 because of better frame rates and more 3rd party scenery but do use FSX now and again (I have the acceleration pack). I can see my use of FSX increasing as more and more aircraft and scenery developers abandon FS9, just wish there was hardware that could give the same quality of graphics and FPS for FSX as FS9 has.RegardsDave
