ASE server down?

Featured Replies

No, dont reinstall. It could be an ISP problem between your location and the servers. Seeing things were working before for you and now their not usually doesn't point to a firewall-antivirus issue unless there has been a major update. What happens if you just let ASE run?

No, dont reinstall. Is ASE closing down or are you manually closing it?
Manually closing. 3 mins is enough time to start downloading from servers.

Jim, I let ASE run for a little longer and it switched to secondary server I just noticed after displaying a download failed, retrying attempt #2. Then after another 5 minutes switched back to the primary server. It is just unable to download from the server for some reason. Jim, ASE has just started downloading from the server and seems now to be working perfectly. I turned my modem off and on and restarted my computer. May be a coincidence, I don't kmow, but as of now all is well. Thanks for your advice and patience
