Hi everyone, I just reinstalled FSX on my computer. I did it because of super traffic board and I have a new computer. I am lucky enough to have both sims running on the same computer. The question I have is with the add on airports. I have already been enjoying fs dream scenery kjfk in fs 2004, so now I wanted to put it in FSX, I downloaded the FSX version and installed. The install went fine but when I load it up it only shows the jetways. I went to the add on manager like I did in fs 2004 and went to check the reinstall function. There was no reinstall function because the product showed active. I uninstalled both versions because I thought I may have to go in again and add to both. No such luck and now after I uninstall both versions and after a reboot the scenery still shows active. I even tried to manually enter the scenery in the library but when I click add scenery and click on kjfk only the scenery and folders show up and it doesn't show in the library. What is the deal with that. I forgot how tempermental FSX is but there must be a solution. I just joined the forum of fs dream scenery but I have to be approved before I can post so I wanted to ask you guys first because everyone has been such good help in the past. You don't say what OS your are using. If its Win7 there is a trick to adding scenery which has appeared in this forum.

Sorry, yes it is the wonderful windows 7. I forgot about that because I think that's another whole issue, windows 7 and FSX are a delicate pair.

Nope, I was able to install the scenery from the sticky post and it worked but the scenery still doesn't show, only the jetways. I have been reading about a bug in the install but none of those bugs are like mine, It also shows active in the addon manager, isn't this strange?
