Ever since I have installed ASE the "initial depiction" has not completed - this happens now in ASE and ASA. The weather changes at my startup location to match the report, but I never get the "Complete" message, that I previously got using ASA (although I had only done a few flights on that before ASE came out!!)...Any suggestions welcome.. ..G

I am using AVG, at the moment it is has no exclusions which has not previously caused me a problem. I take it you would suggest I exclude ASE_Exec.exe ?? Anything else for best performance ??G

I have removed all ASA, RC & FSX .exe's and paths from the "Resident Shield". It managed to complete in about 12 minutes, also tasking into ASE seemed much better (it was very slow / stationary before). I will give it a try with a flight later on .. .. but that has definately make a big difference !!Cheers,G

I have tried with and without - also with AVAST. Seems temperamental, some flights it completes on approach, some after 5 minutes, some somewhere in between.. .. .. going to keep at it and see if I can find out why !!?!?G
