  1. Well theoretical it's the same thing, just has to be able to cope when YOU do something it isn't expecting... for IFR at least. G
  2. Lol, I never got CyberPunk, but as soon as I saw the comment it made me think of No Man's Sky. Still searching for the perfect ATC, so at the price they look to be selling it I will probably get it as soon as it's out, certainly didn't regret NMS .. .. G
  3. No it happens on Steam as well, I've had it happen twice to me. Might be rarer than those who purchased from the store? G
  4. Great for those on XBox, according to PMS that also means that they have access to the full version like on the PC. G
  5. They certainly didn't in my case, have been very impressed at how many major versions I have gone through without paying again. G
  6. Last night I flew Bucharest to Amman, Simbrief's suggested routing was far South of the conflict zones and went a long way extra to avoid them.... G
  7. Just to be 100% clear - I was calling it (and would have classed it as) a subscription until they made the basic option free. Quite agree though, based on their own figures if you are a heavy user *AND* use Premium voices it could actually cost you more, so for a heavy with premium user at least SI is capped - so that may make more sense if everything else is equal..... G
  8. That could be a concern, interestingly SI did have the "current" average response time on their website (think it was 12 seconds last I saw it). That now seems to have been removed, although in all fairness the streams I saw for it had much shorter delays than that. @pete_auau in terms of cost currently BATC sounds like Premium will be $10 for 15 flights (at the more expensive end of their scale), or nothing for "Basic" voices. If "Basic" is as good (or bad) as SAPI voices that p2atc uses, then I will be happy with that. G
  9. But it's not $30 a month, in fact you don't necessarily have to top up monthly. G
  10. There is absolutely nothing I have seen that has come out of BATC that says $30 a month. Can you provide a reference for that, or are you just making figures up? G
  11. Got excited for a moment when they said about the cabins being similar that they might have done a freighter variant. G
  12. Speed limitation due to possibility of bird strikes?? Sure I have flown other aircraft in previous sims that have similar, although think that was above 10k ft (which makes more sense).. G
  13. Absolutely tanked my frame rates though, ended up flying without it, wish I could get the same performance with AutoOrtho + SimHeaven that I get in MSFS. G
  14. I just get assigned a runway from p2atc, won't bother with AI traffic until there is an ATC system that can sensibly control them & myself.... G
  15. The 2 flights I managed so far (away from machine at the moment) were both entered manually into the classic FMC. G
  16. I have seen them comment on it here, but when I last checked it wasn't on their forums. Not seen the issue myself!.. G
  17. It's not out yet, interesting video showing It's state as a couple of months ago. Definitely work needed on injection, taxiing aircraft appear to have intoxicated pilots & pretty sure that Shamrock should have gone around, because it looked way high.... but as the video said it is WIP.. G
  18. I tend to permanently hangar products that aren't up to the quality level I desire, there really isn't an "enjoy it for the price" level. G
  19. Unfortunately not, ultimately odds are it will be a case of choosing what compromises you are prepared to accept. I would be extremely surprised if there is ever one ATC addon to rule them all. There's more chance of MS getting their act together in that respect.... G
  20. Last I flew it (after the FADEC update) it was not much improved. No keyboard, although I *think* most other buttons did work other than MACH hold switch over. Although some have no sound when switched. Autopilot works as it's the WT G1000. Graphically it is uninspiring, sounds are poor, permanently hangared for me although I would add - it's on the slow side for what I like to fly (although I still fly the VisionJet), and I dislike the G1000 (in general, nothing to do with WT). G Edit: Just to add, last update was at the end of last year, so whilst they are slow coming it is still being updated.
  21. Guess everyone is different, had it long before the FSW 35 and flew it extensively (no decent option for a modern bizjet in p3d). After I got the 35 I didn't touch it, even buying the upgrade to v3 - that got one flight and back to the 35. Might consider it if they've actually got IAS/MACH mode working properly this time and have the dual GTN layout as that is still lacking in the 35. G
  22. Judging by their p3d offering I'll stick with the FSW 35. The two are similar enough anyway, and far enough from my preferred modern avionics that one will do. G
