March 4, 201016 yr I'm enjoying flying the heavies into Fly Tampa's TNCM but there doesn't seem to be much high quality payware (or freeware!) scenery for anywhere else nearby. I don't have time for long hauls and I'm not a big fan of time compression so can anyone recommend a destination with decent scenery within say 45 minutes' range of St Maarten?
March 4, 201016 yr Did you purchase the stand alone version of FTs TNCM? Because the complete version comes with St Barthelemy Gustave III (TFFJ) and Saba Juancho Yrausquin (SABA/TNCS), which are short hops in a prop, and are just amazing sceneries in and of themselves. C. Bird International Airport. Are common ones I fly to. Usually an hour or two away. Clarke Kruger - CYEG
March 5, 201016 yr Here's a list of Airports that can handle heavies within an hour or so from St.Maarten.All of the airports are made by TropicalSim either separately or part of their fly to caribe Packs,or their Carribean Bundle (worth it IMOif you fly around the Carribean a lot). The exception is San Juan TJSJ, Blueprint has a freeware San Juan scenery that can be downloaded from their site. March 5, 201016 yr There's a freeware program here in the files section called something like "Destination Finder" that is very handy for just this kind of information. Do a search for it in the FS2004 Utilities section -- I don't think you'll regret it. Smooth Skies! -- Chuck B.
