FS2004 and FSFlightMax and FSGarmin (products)

Was wondering if FSFlightMax and FSGarmin products work with FS2004? Has anyone been able to use them? Any special procedures one must follow to make them work?Thanks,Jim B

Hi,You will be glad to know that the FSGarmin 430 and 530 both work perfectly in Fs2004. You will need FSUIPC.DLL to make them work though. Dont know if they will work without buying it, I have only installed them since purchasing FSUIPC. Where as the default Garmin 295 and 500 are very good, having used the 530 for the past few months I would personally only fly with the 530 now. As for FsFlightmax, that also works very well indeed. It will not return rain echos using the built in wx generator or FsMeteo. However, If you have ActiveSky (v1.9) It produces the rain echos as its designed to. Hope that answers your questions.
