March 7, 201016 yr I want to update a few of the airports. Can someone please show me (within the AVSIM forum system) where I can find a tutorial/or info on the proper way to use AFCADs ....or....if there isn't any, would you please walk me thru the best way to do it?Thanks,Mike
March 7, 201016 yr All you need to do is extract the AFCAD into the \Add On Scenery\Scenery folder and FS will do the rest. Supporter GhostRecon.net | AGgReSsion WhiteKnight77's Place Mike Shannon

Then start with ReadMe.htm, excellent documentation for beginners such as yourself.:(I am adept in using downloads from various libraries and adding scenery, planes, altering configurations, etc. I guess what I really want to know is: What exactly does the AFCAD file (they are always being added to AVSIM's library for various airports) regulate....what features at these airports are modified? My only understanding is that they update the location of gates/parking ramps, etc. There is probably more to it than that. That is the type of information I'm seeking in this post.Mike
March 7, 201016 yr As I said, start with ReadMe.htm.Sorry Mike.......I got to bed late and up way too early. I didn't realize that you wanted me click on THAT download. I just thought you meant (in general) to download the specific airport AFCAD that I wanted, open it and read the accompanying readme text. I have clicked on it now and will peruse what you told me.Thanks,Mike
