March 8, 201016 yr I have a triplehead2go unit connected to 3-19" monitors and a separate 23" monitor that I use for the instrument panel. If I open the VC on the triplehead2go screen and zoom in just so I see only the cowling and prop and then open the instrument panel on the lower display, will the processor still be required to update both the VC and the undocked instrument panel? I want to see the cowling at least to have some perspective when landing. If I open the cockpit view on the triplehead2go, I get full screen scenery with no cowling. Any help appreciated. Steve
March 8, 201016 yr will the processor still be required to update both the VC and the undocked instrument panel? Not quite sure if I follow you here, but I "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"
March 9, 201016 yr I know Im not being very clear about what Im asking but maybe this will help. Is there a way to remove all of the virtual cockpit panels leaving just the prop? That way I could have my instrument panel on the bottom display and the prop and outside view on the triplehead2go display. Thanks for trying to decipher my questions.Steve
March 9, 201016 yr Thanks for trying to decipher my questions.SteveLOL, alright, Steve. Let "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"
March 9, 201016 yr Yes, thats what Im talking about. I found the way to disable all of the instruments on the VC panel and the load on the processor did lighten up. I will try to adjust the eye level and zoom next. Thanks for hanging in there with me :( Steve
March 10, 201016 yr Great, we got you so far! :( I would think that the actual graphics part of the gauges is the least thing, the virtual measuring, the calculations for the gauges is probably what really requires memory. And the more gauges you got typically on larger AC, the more CPU-workload. But don "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"
