Hello,Before I bought the product I wanted to see if I could get a few questions answered. I am a real-world pilot and use FSX primarily for instrument work. I do all my flying on the sim in IFR conditions. I am more into realistic details than I am about eye candy. I want something that is going to provide me with the necessary realism I need to practice IFR flight.Questions:1) Does this product provide a good simulation with IMC conditions? (Does it lower visibility in clouds so that the cloud isn't 2D like the default clouds in FSX, where you flight through it "instantly?"2) I have FSUIPC 4 and have the severe ice mode allowed, will ASE recognize this and allow for severe icing to occur should the environment meet the right conditions?3) Does turbulence in ASE only affect the airframe or will it show on the primary flight instruments as well, given that the turbulence is heavy enough?4) Going back to number 1, as this is my main factor whether I purchase a weather addon or not; when flying an approach to weather at minimums (200ft ceiling and 1/2 mile visibility) will the visibility simulate these conditions so that I wont break out of the ceiling until that 200 foot mark?I hope these questions are clear enough for you and if not, just tell me and I will reword them to make them clearer. Thanks,Cameron

Hi Cameron,From my own personal experience the answer to all 4 of your questions is yes. Granted I am using it primarily with FS9 but I can achieve everything you asked about with ASE. Hope that helps, Jim and Damian at HiFi are extremely helpful as well. Pop into the HiFi Simulation Support right here in the commercial forums and ask there as well.-Paul

Personally I cannot fly without it anymore. Even if I take a little performance hit on my low end system its well worth it. The other side of flight simulation besides flying the AC is the weather. You won't be dissapointed.
