PMDG Sounds Dll

Featured Replies

Hey guys when I start FSX I get a message saying flight simulator detected a problem with a third party addon "PMDG Sounds DLL" version 10,0,61355,62Now that being said I just installed an Sound Blaster Extreme Audio sound card, it worked fine the first few times but then I started hearing strange sounds, especially when using the MD11, for example when I used the load manager, when it asks to send the data to fsx and I would confirm it would make a loud buzzing noise, weird. Anyways now I get this message everytime I start fsx. Before I run a system restore and get rid of this card, does anyone have any advice.

Hi Ian, I have had that in the past also. Unfortunately I don't remember what the cause was but I think I started getting it out of the blue, or perhaps after I updated my X-FI sound drivers via windows update (Bad move). I do remember just clicking an option to tell FSX to disable it so I wouldn't get the message anymore then I ran a repair using my MD-11 installer. This was a few installs ago I'm afraid but maybe some of this will help.

Hey Dan, I ran a repair of my MD11 and it fixed the problem, but I tell ya this sound card sucks, since installing it I have had nothing but problems, CTD's and loud buzzing noises when panning outside of the AC, this is the first time I have used a sound card, I have played with all the settings, Im taking it out and returning it. Anyways Thanks, ps It looks like your starting to be the go to guy around here lately :(

Haha, nah I just seem to have had every problem in the book since the amount of times I've installed everything :(
